Your focus
Focus under public evaluation pressure is one of the hardest focus conditions to train. Elimination drills with visible stakes create the nervous system state closest to real competition, making focus training maximally transferable.
All players compete in a shooting elimination. Each player takes one shot per round.
Miss = eliminated from the round (sit down, watch). Make = advance to next round.
Last player standing after consecutive rounds wins the practice competition.
Coach evaluates routine quality (consistent setup, breathing, eyes) not just makes.
Helpful cues
- When the stakes go up, your routine must get more deliberate, not less
- Elimination pressure is feedback, notice what happens to your focus
- The players who survive aren't always the best shooters; they're the best focusers
