We make development visible for players and parents, while giving coaches a way to capture and deliver meaningful feedback in seconds.
Joni and Michael Kazantzis have kids in travel sports. A few years ago, they started noticing something: their kids were improving, but meaningful feedback from coaches was almost nonexistent. They asked other parents. Same story, different sport, different town, different state. They found the forums. Thousands of parents saying the same things. Coaches saying there wasn’t enough time. Parents saying they were spending thousands of dollars and didn’t know what they were getting.
They realized they were sitting at an unusual intersection: two people who had played sports their whole lives, coached youth athletes, raised kids in club programs, and built careers in tech, marketing, branding, and data-driven environments where progress is measured, not assumed. They also believe that what youth sports are really developing is bigger than athletic skill alone — discipline, resilience, and the ability to compete, recover, and show up again. Skills that last a lifetime. That’s why they coach. That’s why their kids play. And that’s why they built UpLVL.
