Hudl is what happens in the game. UpLVL is what happens in between.
Keep Hudl for film, stats and recruiting. UpLVL tracks the skills each player builds at practice, and sends parents a report on how they're growing.

Which one you need
Who each one is built for.
Hudl fits if
- You want every game filmed and broken down
- You want stats tied to the video
- Your players are building recruiting profiles and highlights
- Your coaches give feedback on clips with comments and drawings
UpLVL fits if
- You want parents to see development between games
- Your coaches can give 15 seconds a player at practice, by voice
- You want every family to get a report and a drill to work on at home
- Your club wants every coach rating the same skills, all season
Skip UpLVL if
- You only need game film, stats or highlights
- Your players need recruiting profiles. That's Hudl's job.
- Your coaches won't give 15 seconds a player at practice
They don't overlap, so a team can run both: Hudl on game film, UpLVL at practice.
The UpLVL App

- ScoreUpLVL finds the skills in your note and rates them. You can change any rating.
- SendOne tap and all the parents get a link.
Avery Lane
quick release on the feed.need to protect stick in traffic.first to every ground ball.
Avery, your release on the feed was quick today. A quick release gets the ball there before the slide does. Next, protect your stick in traffic. Keep it tight to your helmet so a check can't reach it. You were first to every ground ball. Possession starts there.

UpLVL and Hudl
Questions clubs ask.
No. Hudl covers film, stats and recruiting. UpLVL covers practice: skills, development reports and drills.
Hudl says parents see video, highlights and stats. Coach comments and playlists stay with the players. Every UpLVL report goes to the parents.
About 15 seconds a player, spoken during practice. For an 18-player team, that is about 5 minutes while the drills run. Nothing to write after.
No. The club or coach pays. Parents get every report free, by email, with no app to download.
We checked every Hudl fact on Hudl's own pages on Nov 3, 2026. Products change. If something here is wrong, email support@getuplvl.com and we'll fix it.
