Elite decision making requires the ability to see and process faster than opponents , a skill built through repeated exposure to a variety of scenarios. Pairing video analysis concepts with live application trains the wrestler's pattern recognition at the neurological level. Advanced wrestlers who make good decisions faster win close matches.
Coach sets up a specific live position from film study or tournament prep (known opponent tendency).
Wrestler enters the position with one second to assess before the whistle.
Thirty-second live round with the specific scenario constraint.
Discuss: did the wrestler recognize the pattern? Did the decision match their pre-match plan?
Goal
