Your focus
Clinical finishing demands placement and composure , not just power. A scoring system that rewards quality placement over luck trains the decision-making and technical discipline that separates goal-scorers from players who just shoot.
4v4 game in the attacking half. Two keepers in the goals.
Only goals that hit the corners of the net count, wide open shots that are saved don't count.
Goals from first touch score double.
Goals from outside the box score triple.
Shanked or wayward shots result in a free kick for the opposition.
Play 15 minutes; track which players score most clinical goals.
Goal
Success is finishing at least 4 out of 6 chances cleanly across different service types, feet, volleys, headers, cutbacks. Clinical finishing means no wasted chances.
Helpful cues
- Pick your corner, aim small, miss small
- Clinical means placing it, not blasting it
