How it works
Organize teammates' positioning during a game without coach input, developing real-time leadership on the field.

Your focus
In-game leadership , the ability to read what the team needs and organize it verbally during play , is a higher-level skill than halftime talks. Training players to lead during active play builds the decisive, communicative leadership that transforms teams.
Play small-sided activity on a bounded space. Coach says nothing during play.
Each team has one designated organizer whose job is to guide teammates' positions.
Organizer must: point players to positions, call for compactness or width, and call pressing triggers.
Every 3 minutes, the organizer role rotates to a different player.
After the game, teammates vote on whose leadership was most effective and explain why.
Coach discusses what made each organizer effective or ineffective.
Helpful cues
- Lead by name, say who needs to move, not just 'someone'
- Positive direction: 'push up' beats 'why are you so deep?'
- Organizers earn authority by being right, call it early and correctly
