How it works

Execute a technical circuit while integrating individualized coaching corrections at each station.

What you need

  • cones
  • soccer ball
  • poles

Your focus

At higher levels, the ability to absorb individual technical corrections quickly separates developing players from elite ones. This drill creates high-repetition opportunities for feedback and application in a structured but dynamic environment.

1

Set up a 5-station technical circuit (passing, first touch, shooting, moving with the ball, playing the ball).

2

Coach assigns each player a specific technical focus before they start.

3

Players rotate through stations every 90 seconds.

4

At each station, coach watches for the specific correction, offers new feedback if resolved.

5

At the end, each player reports one thing they changed and how it felt.

6

Coach confirms or redirects each self-assessment.

Helpful cues

  • Your body knows when it's right, trust the feedback loop
  • Don't wait for me to come to you, self-correct between my visits
  • One focused correction beats five unfocused reps
