Your focus
Resilience is built in the moment of wanting to quit but choosing to continue. The 'one more rep' principle is simple, portable, and applicable to every aspect of athletic development. Building this habit at the beginner level makes it automatic at higher levels.
Players complete a 5-minute wall ball session at game intensity.
Each time a player feels like stopping, they must say 'one more' and complete one additional rep before resting.
Coach counts how many 'one more' reps each player completes total.
Most 'one more' reps earns a practice recognition.
Goal
You've got it when you do one more rep after you wanted to stop, not two, not five. Just one more. Every session. That's how it builds.
Helpful cues
