How it works
Develop leadership habits by taking responsibility for organizing and leading a drill line.
What you need

Your focus
Early leadership development begins with simple responsibilities , organizing peers, giving clear direction, modeling good behavior. These micro-leadership moments build the identity and habits of a team leader.
One player is designated 'Line Leader' at the start of a drill.
Line Leader sets up the cones, calls players to their positions, and starts the drill with a verbal signal.
Line Leader also goes last in the rotation and cheers for each teammate.
Rotate the Line Leader role so every player has the opportunity.
Helpful cues
- A leader uses their voice to help the team, not to be in charge
- Set up the drill the way you want it, take ownership
- Cheering for teammates is leadership too, it makes everyone feel the leader's energy
