Your focus
Confidence in 1v1 play comes from having a plan and committing to it. Players who enter 1v1s reactively struggle. Those who enter with a declared intention and follow through build the decisive confidence of elite attackers.
Before each 1v1 rep, the attacker announces their intention to the group ('I'm going roll dodge left, then shooting high corner').
The attacker then executes the 1v1 and attempts to fulfill exactly what they declared.
After the rep, player rates execution 1-5.
Run 6 reps per player; defender reacts naturally.
Goal
You're there when your intention going in matches what you actually do, if you said you'd roll dodge right and shoot low, and you did exactly that, that's ownership.
Helpful cues
- Confidence means declaring and doing, not hoping
