How it works

Maintain technical execution and competitive intensity across consecutive high-pressure failure reps.

What you need

  • lacrosse stick
  • lacrosse ball
  • goal
  • cones

Your focus

Elite lacrosse players face repeated failure within a single game. Training attitude under high-volume adversity builds the emotional toughness to stay technically sound when things go wrong.

1

Player runs 5 consecutive shooting reps under time pressure. Coach counts misses aloud.

2

After each miss, player must sprint to the end line and back before the next rep.

3

Player must maintain strong body language (no stick slams, no head drops) throughout.

4

After all 5 reps, player self-rates attitude 1-5 and sets one specific next-rep intention.

Helpful cues

  • Your body language is visible to every teammate
  • The rep after a miss is the most important rep
  • Channel frustration into your next first step
