Your focus
The neutral zone trap is the most challenging defensive system for offensive positioning , it eliminates traditional entry lanes and requires attackers to find new positioning solutions in real time. Training players to read trap positioning and adjust their routes through the neutral zone builds the spatial intelligence to beat any defensive system. Teams that position correctly against the trap consistently generate offensive zone time.

Helpful cues
- The trap wants you to go wide, find the middle seam instead
- Position yourself behind their trap, not in front of it
- One player beats the trap, the other four must be positioned to receive the puck instantly on the far side
