How it works
Test and develop elite coachability by delivering rapid, sequential corrections during a live competitive scrimmage.

Your focus
The most coachable players remain receptive and adaptive even in high-intensity competitive environments. Training the ability to receive corrections mid-scrimmage without disrupting focus or attitude prepares players for the demands of in-game coaching at high levels. The ability to adjust quickly under pressure is the hallmark of elite coachability.
Run a live 4-on-4 scrimmage with full competitive intensity.
Every 90 seconds, coach stops play and gives 2-3 players a quick specific correction.
Play immediately resumes; corrections must be implemented in the next 90-second segment.
After the full scrimmage, coach scores each player on the quality of their adjustment (0=ignored, 1=partial, 2=full correction applied).
Helpful cues
- Fast listening is a skill, sharpen it
- Your response to coaching is part of your evaluation
- The best players want the correction, not the compliment
