Your focus
Consecutive success on the same route builds both technical confidence and psychological self-belief. The escalating difficulty maintains challenge while the success streak reinforces the player's identity as a reliable receiver. Confidence built on earned technical success is more durable than confidence based on encouragement alone.
Set up a go route at 15 yards with the QB throwing at 70% velocity for rep 1.
Each successful catch increases velocity by 10% and distance by 2 yards.
Player must catch five consecutive passes to complete the drill; any drop restarts the streak at the current distance.
Once five-in-a-row is achieved, player calls out their streak number and takes a high-five from the QB.
