How it works
Execute a no-huddle flag football series using only hand signals and line-of-scrimmage communication to call and run plays.
What you need

Your focus
No-huddle offense demands the highest level of team communication because every player must process play calls under time and noise pressure. Teams that master no-huddle communication can control tempo and disrupt defensive substitutions. This drill builds the communication infrastructure needed for two-minute drill success.
Establish 5 pre-coded hand signals with the team that correspond to 5 plays.
Run a live 4v4 series where the QB may only use signals (no verbal play calls) to communicate the play at the line.
Players confirm their assignment with a fist pump before setting; snap on the QB's cadence.
Run 10 consecutive plays no-huddle; grade how many plays were correctly communicated and executed without breakdown.
Goal
You're there when the no-huddle series runs three plays cleanly using only signals, right play, right alignment, no false starts.
Helpful cues
- Eyes up at the line, read the QB's signals immediately
- If you missed the signal, align to your base assignment and communicate to the QB
- Speed of communication = speed of play
