Your focus
Reverse stick control is an essential advanced skill that allows players to receive and control balls on their left side without turning. Early development of this skill expands a player's range significantly. Players with strong reverse stick control are far harder to defend against.
Set up 6 cones in a straight line, 3 yards apart.
Players dribble through the course using only the reverse stick face.
Focus on keeping the ball close and maintaining control through all 6 cones.
Compare speed with dominant stick face to track reverse stick improvement.
Goal
You're there when you complete the cone course using only your reverse stick without losing control or switching faces.
Helpful cues
- Rotate the stick face fully to the reverse position
- Keep your head over the ball
- Short, precise touches, don't overrun the ball
