How it works
Train wrestlers to execute technically sound drilling sequences after fatigue-inducing conditioning bursts.

Your focus
Wrestlers rarely enter critical moments of a match feeling fresh; drilling under fatigue bridges the gap between isolated technique practice and match-pressure execution. Maintaining form after a conditioning burst teaches neuromuscular control under stress. This adaptation is critical for late-period scoring.
Wrestler performs 10 sprawls and 10 penetration steps at full speed (approx. 30 seconds).
Immediately transition to a 60-second drilling sequence with a partner: alternate offensive double-leg finishes.
Coach evaluates and calls out technical breakdowns observed during the fatigued drilling segment.
Rest 45 seconds, then repeat the cycle 4 times, tracking improvement in technique retention.
Goal
You're there when your drilling technique holds up after the conditioning burst, if the moves fall apart after fatigue, the conditioning is working but the stamina isn't ready yet.
Helpful cues
- Head up even when you're tired
- Finish your shots, no half-reps
- Control your breath between reps to slow your heart rate
Adjust the challenge
Make it easier
Strip it back
Reduce conditioning burst to 5 reps each and allow 30 extra seconds before drilling begins.UpLVL it

Build a practice plan
Add drills, keep the plan in this browser, then share a link with your staff or parents. This library helps you find the right drill. Inside UpLVL the right drill finds the player.
After every practice, UpLVL automatically surfaces the drills each player needs to work on most. See it for yourself.
