How it works
Help players maintain passing focus while teammates try to distract them with noise and movement.

Your focus
Games are filled with crowd noise, teammate chatter, and sideline movement that can break concentration. Practicing in controlled distraction trains players to create a mental tunnel around the ball. This drill builds the mental resilience needed to execute skills under pressure.
One player stands 5 feet from a wall and begins passing the ball to themselves off the wall continuously.
Three or four teammates surround the passer and attempt to distract them with clapping, talking, or waving arms (no touching).
The passer must complete 15 consecutive wall passes without stopping.
Rotate so every player takes a turn as the passer.
Helpful cues
- Lock your eyes on the ball, nothing else exists
- Breathe steady, don't hold your breath
- Reset your focus after each contact
