How it works
Train players to make rapid, accurate in-system vs. out-of-system judgments and respond with the appropriate tactical action.

Your focus
One of the most consequential micro-decisions in volleyball is whether a rally is 'in-system' (go for a full attack) or 'out-of-system' (go for a high ball or tip to reset). Players who cannot make this judgment quickly either over-attack poor balls or under-attack good ones. Deliberate repetition of this binary decision in real ball conditions builds the automatic recognition loop.
Coach feeds 50/50 balls, half are tight, accurate passes (in-system) and half are off-target, difficult passes (out-of-system).
Players must call 'IN!' or 'OUT!' within 1 second of ball contact on the first touch; team adjusts their response accordingly (attack vs. high ball).
Coach tracks call accuracy against actual ball quality (coach pre-rates each feed as in or out); review discrepancies.
Play 20 rally sequences and identify players with <70% read accuracy for targeted remediation.
Goal
You're there when your system vs. out-of-system call is made before you contact the ball, read early, act early.
