How it works
Sustain maximum physical and competitive effort across a multi-station conditioning circuit with game-specific skill finishers.
What you need
- lacrosse stick
- lacrosse ball
- cones
- goal
- wall
Your focus
Game-level effort requires the ability to compete hard immediately following physical exertion. Combining conditioning with game skills trains the body and mind to execute when most tired , the moment when effort determines outcomes.
Station 1: 40-yard shuttle (sprint, touch, sprint back) with stick in hand.
Station 2: 10 wall ball passes, maximum speed.
Station 3: 3 ground balls from a roll, immediate pass to feeder.
Station 4: Closeout and contest a shot on goal. Each player completes the full circuit twice with minimal rest between stations.
Goal
You're there when your last station rep is as sharp as your first, if the skill finisher at the end of the conditioning circuit still looks clean, you've earned this one.
Helpful cues
- Your only job at each station is maximum effort, everything else follows
- The ground ball station is where effort shows most, low first
- Contest that shot with everything you have left, the circuit doesn't end until the ball is caught or saved
