How it works
Make quality decisions in a high-chaos 5v5 scrimmage where coach randomly changes rules mid-possession.

- pinnies
- cones
Your focus
Elite-level decision-making must function even when the situation changes unexpectedly. Introducing mid-possession rule changes forces players to re-evaluate and decide anew, mimicking real game chaos like a sudden change of possession or a broken play.
5v5 scrimmage runs normally.
At any moment coach can call: 'add a defender' (6v5), 'two passes only' (must shoot in two passes), or 'must cut first' (cannot shoot until a cut occurs).
Players must immediately apply the new rule without stopping play.
Coach evaluates decision quality across rule changes. Run 12 minutes total.
Goal
Success is making a correct decision even when the coach changes the rules mid-possession, adaptation under chaos is the real benchmark here.
Helpful cues
- Hear the rule change and immediately reassess your options
- The best players adapt fastest, their decisions don't freeze under change
- Communicate the rule change to your teammates immediately
