How it works
Train the QB to identify a blitz pre-snap, make a quick decision to the hot route, and deliver a fast accurate throw before the rusher pulls the flag.

Your focus
The blitz situation is the most time-compressed decision-making scenario for a QB in flag football. Combining the pre-snap read with the hot route decision and a quick-release throw in under 2 seconds requires all three QB skills to operate simultaneously. Mastering this sequence makes the QB virtually immune to blitz pressure.
Defense alternates between a blitz and no-blitz look; QB must identify the blitz correctly to select the hot route.
On a blitz read, QB signals the hot route, takes the snap, and delivers within 1.5 seconds.
On a no-blitz read, QB executes the base play from the normal progression.
Grade: blitz identification accuracy, signal execution speed, and hot route throw accuracy.
Goal
Success is identifying the blitz, signaling the hot route, and releasing the ball before the rusher arrives, all three, in order, correctly.
