How it works
Build QB resilience by requiring an immediate and confident throw on the very next play after a scripted interception.

Your focus
An interception is the highest-adversity event for a QB in flag football. QBs who shrink after interceptions become ineffective for the rest of the game. Practicing the bounce-back throw immediately after a scripted interception builds the resilience habit of attacking the next opportunity rather than retreating.
Run a play where the QB deliberately throws into a scripted interception situation.
After the interception, the next play is called immediately with no time for rumination.
QB must deliver the throw on the next play with the same technique and conviction as if the interception never happened.
Coach grades the next-play throw quality: was it tentative, rushed, or confident?
Helpful cues
- The next play has no memory of the interception
- Throw with conviction: hesitation after an INT is the real mistake
- Your teammates need you to bounce back now, not eventually
