Practice receiving structured feedback from a coach-led play review and immediately applying it in a live rep.

Your focus
Connecting film-style feedback directly to live repetition closes the learning loop faster than classroom review alone. Players who learn to see and accept their mistakes on a play are more coachable and improve faster in competitive situations. This mirrors how advanced programs develop player IQ.
Run a 4v4 flag football series for 4 plays and have a coach take notes on one specific player per series.
After the series, coach delivers a 60-second feedback session to that player using specific observations ('On play 2, your route broke inside when it should have gone outside').
Player articulates the correction back in their own words and then immediately runs the exact same route or play.
The whole group observes the correction application and discusses what changed.
Goal
You've got it when the very next live rep after the film review shows a correction from what was reviewed, immediate application.
Helpful cues
- Listen to understand, not just to nod
- Ask one question if you're unclear
- Prove you heard it on the next rep
Adjust the challenge
Make it easier
Strip it back
Limit feedback to one positive and one correction to avoid overwhelm.UpLVL it
Add the next challenge
Player self-evaluates before the coach speaks, predicting what correction is coming. No account needed
Build a practice plan
Add drills, keep the plan in this browser, then share a link with your staff or parents. This library helps you find the right drill. Inside UpLVL the right drill finds the player.
After every practice, UpLVL automatically surfaces the drills each player needs to work on most. See it for yourself.
