How it works
Simulate the highest-pressure end-of-game scenario to build team composure and individual resilience under existential competitive pressure.

Your focus
Down a goal with 2 minutes left is the defining resilience test in field hockey. Teams must attack with clarity, not desperation, while the other team defends compositely. Repeated practice of this scenario creates a mental blueprint that makes real moments feel familiar.
Set up a half-field small-sided activity; one team is down 1-0 with 2 minutes remaining.
Coach starts a visible countdown clock.
Trailing team must organize and execute to score; leading team defends their lead.
Run 6 reps with alternating roles; debrief on composure quality each time.
