Your focus
Elite finishers like Ginobili and Harden score in impossible positions because they have trained body control beyond the standard layup. This drill pushes the boundaries of coordination and spatial awareness, giving players finishing options when perfect footwork is not possible. Athletes who develop circus layups become unguardable in traffic.
Player performs a standard right-hand layup, then a left-hand reverse, then a scoop under the backboard.
Progress to off-balance finishes: spin and release, fade-away layup from the block, and over-the-shoulder reverse.
Each finish must go through or off the correct part of the board. Track makes per 10 attempts.
Finish each session with a 'trick shot challenge', player proposes and executes one creative finish.
Goal
It's clicking when at least 3 out of the 5 circus finishes go in, it's not circus if it never works. Acrobatic and effective.
