Your focus
King of the court creates sustained competitive pressure because losing means sitting and watching. Players who want to stay on the court compete with everything they have on every single possession. This format reveals a player's true compete level better than almost any other drill.
Split team into pairs. Pairs rotate through in a king-of-the-court 1v1 format.
Winner stays, loser goes to end of the line. First pair to win 5 consecutive matches is the champion.
If no pair wins 5 in a row after 15 minutes, pair with most total wins is champion.
Champion pair leads the next team stretch or drill, status matters.
