How it works
Build the ability to maintain constant physical pressure through a chain of connected tie-up and movement actions.

Your focus
Pressure in wrestling is not a single action but a continuous chain of movements that collectively break down an opponent's stance and mental resolve. Drilling pressure chains teaches wrestlers to transition between pressure actions , collar tie, underhook, head control , without releasing and allowing the opponent to reset. Opponents who face unrelenting chained pressure make more mistakes and give up more scoring opportunities.
Attacker establishes collar tie and applies forward pressure for 5 seconds.
Transition to underhook on the same side and drive chest pressure forward for 5 seconds.
Transition to two-on-one wrist control and pull and redirect the opponent for 5 seconds.
Complete the chain with a controlled head snap and return to collar tie to begin again. Run 3 continuous chains per set for 4 sets each.
Goal
Success is your partner feeling like they can't stop or back up, you're always connected and always moving forward.
Helpful cues
- Never stop moving when you're in the chain, breaks let them breathe
- Each transition should feel like more pressure, not less
- The chain ends in a shot, pressure without attack is just stalling
Adjust the challenge
Make it easier
Strip it back
Drill each individual link of the chain separately before connecting them into a continuous sequence.UpLVL it
Add the next challenge
Partner actively fights back during the chain; attacker must maintain pressure and complete the chain regardless. No account needed
