How it works
Develop leadership through peer teaching, pairing more experienced wrestlers with newer teammates to explain and demonstrate a technique.

Your focus
Teaching a technique requires a deeper level of understanding than simply executing it, which reinforces the teacher's own learning while building communication and patience skills. Being trusted to teach a teammate builds the confidence and accountability that define team leaders. Wrestlers who can articulate technique become more coachable and self-aware competitors.
Coach pairs a more experienced wrestler with a newer teammate and assigns one specific technique to teach.
The teaching wrestler has 5 minutes to explain and demo the technique using any cues they choose.
The learning wrestler asks at least one clarifying question and then attempts the technique.
The teaching wrestler gives specific feedback, one thing done well, one thing to improve, before switching roles.
