How it works
Serve 30 consecutive balls to different court zones with minimal rest to build service consistency under fatigue.
What you need
- volleyballs
- cones
Your focus
Serving under fatigue is when errors happen in a real match. This circuit trains serving consistency across a high volume of reps, building the muscle memory needed to still serve well late in a game.
Set up 3 target zones across the far court with cones: left, center, right.
Serve continuously, 10 serves to each zone.
Walk to retrieve after every 5 serves.
Track: serves in, serves on target.
Final 5 serves: random target. Parent calls the zone just before you toss.
Goal
You've got it when 25 of 30 serves land in bounds, with at least 2 per zone reaching their target.
Helpful cues
- Toss to the same spot every time, inconsistent toss creates everything else
- Follow through to your target, not just the ball
- Breathe between serves, don't rush
Adjust the challenge
Make it easier
Strip it back
Reduce to 15 total serves (5 per zone) and prioritize form over volume.UpLVL it
Add the next challenge
Parent calls the zone while you're already in your toss, must adjust mid-motion.No account needed
Build a practice plan
Add drills, keep the plan in this browser, then share a link with your staff or parents. This library helps you find the right drill. Inside UpLVL the right drill finds the player.
After every practice, UpLVL automatically surfaces the drills each player needs to work on most. See it for yourself.
