Your focus
Serving is one of the most psychologically exposed moments in volleyball , the whole gym watches. Players who struggle with attitude often show it most visibly after a service error. This drill creates that pressure repeatedly, building the mental toughness to perform with confidence under public evaluation.
Each player takes 10 consecutive serves. The team and coaches watch in silence.
After each delivery (in or out), player must visibly reset using their routine before the next serve.
Any visible frustration response (throwing hands up, turning away, negative self-talk) is noted but not penalized, it becomes a talking point.
After all 10 deliveries, teammates provide specific positive feedback on attitude, not just serve success.
Players set a personal attitude goal for the next serving sequence.
