How it works
Apply powerful physical pressing with explosive sprinting in a live game environment, using strength to dominate aerial and ground duels.

Your focus
Strength and power in soccer are most effective when applied in coordinated explosive movements , pressing, sprinting, jumping, shielding , in live game sequences. Training these qualities in game-realistic contexts builds the physical dominance that transfers directly to match performance.
7v7 on a 45x30 yard field. One team plays a high-press style, maximum physical effort on every ball.
Award pressing team 1 point for every aerial duel won in the opponent's half.
Award pressing team 1 point for every sprint of 15+ yards that directly pressures the ball carrier.
Goals count 3 points.
Play 20 minutes; press-team wins are tracked by the coach.
Rotate which team presses after 10 minutes.
Goal
Success is dominating at least two aerial or ground duels per possession, your physical presence changes what the opposition is willing to challenge for.
Helpful cues
- Every duel is a chance to be physically dominant, commit fully
- Your power sprint must be at top speed, 90% is not enough
- Aerial duels: jump early, jump high, jump with intent
