Your focus
Elite ball control is about executing moves under pressure at game speed. Chaining moves through a course builds muscle memory that transfers to matches.
Set 4 cones in a line 3 yards apart. Label each with a move: 1=stepover, 2=inside cut, 3=Cruyff turn, 4=stop-and-go.
Dribble to cone 1 at match speed and execute the stepover.
Continue to cone 2, inside cut. Cone 3, Cruyff. Cone 4, stop and accelerate.
Dribble back to start.
Do 5 reps. Mix up which move goes at which cone each rep.
Goal
You've got it when every move is sharp and followed immediately by acceleration.
Helpful cues
- Sell the move, commit to the fake
- Accelerate immediately after every move
- Eyes up before each cone
