How it works
Build a growth mindset around turnovers by training QBs to reframe an interception as a learning data point rather than a failure.

Your focus
QBs who develop a fixed mindset after interceptions avoid risk and reduce effectiveness for the rest of the game. Teaching players to extract learning from the interception immediately converts the setback into a development tool. Growth mindset after turnovers is one of the highest-leverage mental skills in flag football.
Coach deliberately throws an interception into the drill (a predetermined scripted interception) so the QB experiences it in a low-stakes context.
Immediately after, coach asks three questions: What did you see? What did you expect? What will you look for differently next time?
QB runs the same pass play again and identifies the defensive key they missed before.
Run 3 total scripted interception learning sequences per QB; track quality of the post-interception analysis.
Helpful cues
- An interception is a film session in real time
- What did the defense show you that you did not read?
- Reframe it fast: what is the lesson?
Adjust the challenge
Make it easier
Strip it back
Coach provides the interception analysis framework before the drill so the QB knows what questions to answer.UpLVL it
Add the next challenge
QB must identify the correction AND execute the corrected read in a live rep against the same defense within 60 seconds. No account needed
Build a practice plan
Add drills, keep the plan in this browser, then share a link with your staff or parents. This library helps you find the right drill. Inside UpLVL the right drill finds the player.
After every practice, UpLVL automatically surfaces the drills each player needs to work on most. See it for yourself.
