Your focus
2v2 is a highly competitive format where each player's compete level directly affects the result. Fewer players means more direct competition and accountability. High-intensity short bouts (2 minutes) push players to compete at maximum levels.
Set up 4 mini fields; 2v2 on each with mini goals.
Play 2-minute games; winner stays on, loser rotates off.
Keep a running scoreboard; teams compete for the most wins in a session.
End with a championship round between the top two teams.
Goal
Success is your 2v2 scoring or preventing a goal through genuine teamwork under pressure, not just keeping possession.
