Multi-Task Coordination Circuit
Coordination & Body Control

How it works
Challenge advanced players' coordination and body control by requiring simultaneous execution of route running, catching, and flag protection in a continuous circuit.
What you need
- football
- flags
- agility ladder
Your focus
Elite flag football players must coordinate multiple physical demands simultaneously on every play. Training each skill separately never fully prepares players for the game demand of doing all three at once. This circuit forces the nervous system to operate all coordination channels in parallel, mirroring real game complexity.
Set up a 3-station circuit: Station 1 is an agility ladder (footwork), Station 2 is a route break (coordination), Station 3 is a contested catch with a flag defender.
Player runs through all three stations in one continuous sequence with no pauses.
Time the circuit; grade coordination quality at each station on a 1-3 scale.
Run 4 full circuits; aim for both time improvement and coordination quality score improvement.
Goal
You're doing it right when you complete the full multi-task circuit, route, catch, and flag protection all executed without one breaking down.
Helpful cues
- Don't lose one skill as you add the next
- Transition between stations without resetting your body, stay ready
- The best players look coordinated even when tired
Adjust the challenge
Make it easier
Strip it back
Allow a 3-second pause between stations to maintain individual quality.UpLVL it
Add the next challenge
Add a verbal call from a defender at Station 3 that the receiver must respond to with a specific audible, adding cognitive coordination demand. No account needed
Build a practice plan
Add drills, keep the plan in this browser, then share a link with your staff or parents. This library helps you find the right drill. Inside UpLVL the right drill finds the player.
After every practice, UpLVL automatically surfaces the drills each player needs to work on most. See it for yourself.
